We are beyond proud to welcome Viviane Serpa Muller as part of our team. Viviane joined in January 2023 as Leaf’s Global Innovation Manager.
Through her position at Leaf, Viviane will coordinate internal and external innovation projects. She will support our growth and represent Leaf to create meaningful partnerships.
With her Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and PhD in Biomolecular Physics, Viviane gathered extensive experience in R&D and Innovation in her past experiences.

What is your school background?
Viviane: “I am a biologist with a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and a PhD in Biomolecular Physics.”

“Have courage and be kind. I strongly believe there is no other way to succeed in life.”
- What do you like most about your position?
“The opportunity to navigate between the lab magical world and the real full-scale plants, as well as between technical and commercial discussions. As a generalist, I love to have a role where I can apply my background knowledge to connect different aspects of the business to make it happen and create value for our planet”

“My professional career and my superpower of going after the goals I establish for what I believe is an ambitious yet feasible development pathway.”

“I am located in Lesaffre’s headquarters in Marcq-en-Baroeul, France, and I have a global role.”
