The Department of Food Technology and Biochemical Engineering, Jadavpur University, established in 1964, proudly salutes its founders and distinguished alumni who pioneered the integration of food and bioprocessing disciplines.
To commemorate 55 years of academic excellence, the department hosts the National Workshop on Innovations & Employability: Industry–Institute Interaction.
This workshop aims to enhance industry readiness among undergraduate students through interactions with eminent professionals, alumni, and potential employers from academia and industry. The event will serve as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, brainstorming, and collaboration—encouraging innovative thinking in food and biochemical process technologies.
