We are proud to introduce Roc Zhou, who joined Leaf in April 2023 as Technical Service Representative for China!
Roc holds a Master’s Degree in Fermentation Engineering from the Tianjin University of Science & Technology. Prior to joining us, Roc built his experience working as Assistant Researcher.
In his role, Roc provides technical service in China, to support our partners in achieving their objectives. He takes care of training sessions, data collection, and providing expert technical guidance.

- What is your school background?
Roc: “I studied at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, which has solid education in fermentation and food. I gratuated both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees there.”
- What is your motto?
Roc: “My motto is ‘Start firmly, continue tenaciously!'”
- What do you like most about your position?
Roc: “It is a really good opportunity for me, and it will bring many challenges to overcome, which is highly motivating in itself! Encountering and solving a problem gives me a great sense of accomplishment.”
- If you were a microorganism, what would you be?
Roc: “I would say a bacteriophage! I would be able to destroy all pathogenic bacterias”
